Looking for a super easy, fun way to countdown to Easter for your family? Then why not adapt the Christmas Advent calender for an Easter one!

family fun day perth, easter egg hunt

What you will need

  • Empty Egg carton
  • 12 coloured plastic eggs (I bought mine from Coles today)
  • Sharpie or number labels
  • Easter grass (Coles has this also)
  • Mini Easter Egg or figurine (We used Shopkins as we have a Shopkins fan at home)

Once you have the plastic eggs, fill them with the Easter Grass and your mini egg and Figurine. Label the eggs 1 -12.

12 Days prior to Easter Sunday, (16th March 2016), hide one egg in your garden or house for the kids to find. Jodie is my little one in our house, so I need only one carton. I would suggest to avoid any disputes, to create a carton for each child in your home

Happy Easter!

Shopkins is so popular with many young girls right now. Encore's Shopkins Party Theme is flying off the shelves in Perth! Many parents are asking if there are any pre-party arrival activity ideas we can suggest. Last month my daughter Jodie and I created these super cute necklaces. We used a dab of hot glue at the base of the hook and Shopkin to secure in place. If you have a Shopkins fan in your home - these are a great idea. Great for Favour bags if you have the time.

You can purchase the hook, glue and necklace cord from Spotlight or carft stores. If you are looking for Shopkins Party Supplies, be sure to check out Shop Now HQ!
