So I'm enjoying a great night out with friends at the Mermaid Inn on the Upper West Side of Manhattan and the waiter at the end of our night hands us all a Fortune Teller Miracle Fish. What a great idea!
I'm so excited by the Fortune Teller Miracle Fish that my friend Annette asks him for a handful for me to take back to Australia.
These are great idea for dinner parties, older kids loot bags and as a party activity.
Watch as the fortune teller miracle fish's movements decide your fortune!
You place the magical red Fortune Telling Fish on the palm of your hand and watch it begin to move, wiggle, curl up or flip off your hand all by itself. You then look on the back of the envelope to see the movements meanings. Are you independent? Are you fickle? Are you in love?
You can purchase these really cheaply from Fortune Teller Fish. These are kitch and very cool! I'm thinking Clancy's Fish Pub should have these What do you think?
Tim Tam turns 50 this year and I just had to try this. The result equals chocolate'y chins and everyone wanting it again. This receipe is one of my faves from Dolly Magazine and is oh so good! I love to make a Tim Tam Slam Hot Chocolate when I come home from my Saturday Netball and need to warm up quickly.
You’ll need the following ingredients
3 tbsp of unsweetened cocoa powder
4 Original Tim Tams, crushed
A dash of boiling water
4 cups of milk
3 tbsp of icing sugar
A pinch of ground cinnamon
1. Combine the cocoa powder and the Tim Tams with a dash of hot water and make a paste.
2. Put the milk, icing sugar and cinnamon in a pot and heat until just boiling. Add the cocoa mix to a glass or mug, followed by the milk, and stir.
3. Serve with extra crushed Tim Tams and enjoy!

You may have seen Gift-in-a-Vase on Encore’s Instagram
a little while ago and it was such a hit, I decided to do a different one! This prezzy was for my friend who recently turned 13. We loved having a movie marathon and let’s just say that this present that I gave her didn’t last very long!
Just like the Gift-in-a-Vase, the contents of what you put in the bucket are up to you! I found all of this stuff at my local movie rental store where you can also get the movie gift card.
Some of the treats I put in the bucket were:
Dr Pepper Cherry Colas
Cookies and Cream Hershey’s Bar
I also put in a $20 gift card for the movie rental store and I got the ceramic popcorn bucket from Acquire.
Arrange all of the treats in the bucket, wrap with cellophane and give to someone special!
Enjoy and Happy Birthday Cassey!
