Adelaide-born Alexandra is delighted to be completing her final 3rd year at WAAPA in 2018  studying of a Bachelor of Music Theatre.  Her love of performing began when she was just five years old and took her first ballet class at a local dance school. This love of dance blossomed and led to her furthering her skills; taking up jazz and contemporary dance, as well as singing and acting, with the ambition of pursuing a music theatre career. Competing in ballet competitions from a young age, Alexandra placed in numerous Cecchetti Medals and Scholarships, as well as dancing many leading roles with the Australian Classical Youth Ballet, including Clara in The Nutcracker and Wendy in Peter Pan. When she was just 15, Alexandra was offered her first professional dance contract performing as one of 4 featured dancers in Orpheus in the Underworld with the State Opera of South Australia. The show's Sydney based creatives then invited Alexandra on to continue her role in the Sydney production with Opera Australia in 2013. Following her work with the Opera companies, Alexandra worked on ABC's mini-series ANZAC Girls, taught dance, and choreographed multiple shows/performance pieces for Adelaide Youth Theatre whilst she finished school, and before she moved to Perth at the beginning of 2015. Alexandra has loved every moment she's spent working with Encore and is so excited to have the opportunity to spread more magic and joy!
